EisnerAmper LLP, a prominent business advisory firm, has announced the integration of the accounting practice team from Prague & Company, a Boston-based firm specializing in taxation and accounting services. This strategic move is expected to be completed by spring 2025 and will bolster EisnerAmper’s expertise in financial services for high-net-worth individuals and alternative investment entities. The 15-member team from Prague & Company has a strong background in providing accounting, tax, and fund administration services to individuals, partnerships, and corporations across various sectors, including real estate, private equity, timber, and venture capital.
Strategic Growth and Client-Focused Approach
Prague & Company was founded in 1988 and has since developed a reputation for offering tailored financial guidance to clients with complex needs. The firm’s founder, Andrew Prague, expressed enthusiasm for the merger, emphasizing that the integration with EisnerAmper LLP will enable them to expand their offerings and better serve their clients. However, it was clarified that the law firm Prague & Peters is not part of this combination and will continue to operate independently.
EisnerAmper’s LLP vice chair of Industries and Markets, Jay Weinstein, highlighted the synergy between the two firms, noting that Prague & Company’s expertise aligns well with EisnerAmper’s commitment to personalized financial solutions. “The team at Prague & Company will enhance our Boston presence while deepening our capabilities in trusts, estates, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and closely held businesses. This integration is part of EisnerAmper’s ongoing expansion efforts, which recently included the addition of EisnerAmper Luxembourg to its global network. EisnerAmper operates through two distinct entities: EisnerAmper LLP, a licensed independent CPA firm focused on client attest services, and the Eisner Advisory Group, which offers business advisory and non-attest services. Both entities adhere to strict regulatory standards and professional codes of conduct.
With the addition of Prague & Company’s accounting team, EisnerAmper continues to grow its influence in key financial markets. The firm now boasts approximately 450 partners and a workforce of 4,500 employees, reinforcing its position as a leader in the accounting and advisory industry.
